Marianne Stein
Senior Associate
Marianne comes to the Ridge Policy Group as a senior associate from the American Civil Liberties Union of PA (ACLU-PA) where she was the senior legislative associate and one of their in-house lobbyists. During her time with the ACLU-PA she tracked bills of interest, created and led various coalitions, developed advocacy plans, organized legislative briefings and lobby day events.
Prior to her work at the ACLU-PA, she worked as a sentencing policy specialist with the PA Commission on Sentencing where she traveled throughout the Commonwealth to train and educate criminal justice practitioners on the PA sentencing guidelines.
Marianne also served as a probation officer in Lancaster County and prior to that she worked in the substance use and mental health treatment field for almost a decade in prevention and intervention as a treatment provider.
She is also a member of the Lancaster Chamber of Commerce and serves on their Advocacy Committee. Marianne graduated from Penn State University with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and earned a master’s degree in Clinical Counseling from Eastern University.
