Matthew is a Research Associate with the Ridge Policy Group and serves as the primary researcher on issues affecting our clients. He is responsible for monitoring and efficiently communicating movement and actions regarding the legislative issues relevant to a client’s interests. Additionally, he performs background research and drafts legislative reports. He also writes and publishes the Four at 4, a daily newsletter that keeps subscribers informed of the relevant issues they may have missed during their workday.

Prior to joining the firm, Matthew was Senior Legislative Reporter and Clips Editor for Pennsylvania Legislative Services, the premier online legislative research, tracking, media, and analysis service. His primary responsibilities included writing nonpartisan reports on all House and Senate committee meetings, public hearings, and press conferences held at the Capitol as well as writing articles on current topics for the Capitol Recap that related to Pennsylvania state government. He was responsible for managing the newspaper clips team and editing content and was also a featured reporter on the PCN television show PLS Rundown and appeared on This Week: PA.
