Zach Kennedy

Government Affairs Representative

Zach joined Ridge Policy Group from Firehouse Strategies, a leading public affairs firm in Washington, D.C. where he executed targeted persuasion and grassroots advocacy campaigns for fortune 500 corporations, trade associations and nonprofits. Zach also managed the firm’s national network of field operatives as Firehouse’s Deputy Political Director.

Prior to public affairs, Zach earned his stripes in the trenches of political campaigns in Pennsylvania at the local, state, and federal levels. A Pittsburgh native, Zach is a regular political contributor for Pennsylvania’s premiere media outlets, and his opinion pieces and quotes are regularly found in outlets such as The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, RealClearPolitics, The Scranton Times-Tribune, Tribe Total Media, and more.

Zach holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from Ohio University, and spent his college summers interning for some of Pennsylvania’s most respected public servants, such as Senator Bob Casey and Congressman Mike Doyle.
