DC and Pennsylvania Lobbying Firm RPG Shares 2020 Year in Review

As we dealt with the unprecedented circumstances of 2020, we are grateful for the opportunity to continue to serve our clients.

While we navigated the new communication environment, we set up many calls with legislators and the executive branch and their teams. This includes members of Congress and the Administration, Pennsylvania state government officials, and the incoming Administration’s transition team.

As our year in review video highlights, we were able to influence Capitol Hill in Washington, DC, in many ways. This included securing testimony in front of the House Small Business Committee for our client, the University City Science Center, right before the pandemic hit the United States.

We also provided government affairs expertise in Harrisburg and DC that led to our clients securing language and funding to support them during the COVID-19 pandemic. Our consulting firm provided strategic advice on the Paycheck Protection Program, relevant COVID-19 relief funding at the state and local level, and all other programs to support economic relief.

While we were adapting to the new normal, so were our clients. Many clients held virtual conferences and stakeholder events in 2020, and we helped to support those by providing both government and public affairs expertise.

Given the unique environment, we knew how important it was to share insider information to ensure our clients were up to date on what was happening within the Administration in Congress, particularly as it related to COVID-19. We established a daily COVID-19 newsletter that transformed into our daily Four at 4 newsletter, which provides up to date news related to coronavirus, the government, and more. We started a Monday Memo to provide information on what is happening with the United States’ government in Washington, DC, that is sent every Monday morning. We continued to post on our website RPG insights.

We also put on webinars to provide information on the COVID-19 response packages. We kept you up to date on the top lobbying activity and for what the rest of the influence industry was advocating. Most importantly, we were in daily conversation with our clients about the activity in the US and state governments and how it impacted them. All of the activities outlined above remain our priority in 2021.

With the tough year, we are grateful that our clients consider Ridge Policy Group a top lobbying firm and have prioritized our continued relationship. We are excited about the opportunities in 2021 and look forward to working with you in the year ahead.
